Hadal Works

Hadal Works is a one-man fursuit studio based near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I create premade, and sometimes custom, fursuit parts such as paws and tails.

About

Note: Hadal Works is a recent (as of July 2024) rebrand and remake of my studio. You may look at my old Etsy and The Dealer's Den pages to see past sales and reviews and current descriptions as proof of my legitimacy.

Hadal Works is run by just one guy, me!I've made a small handful of suits and parts over the years and now I want to really dig in and try to be more of a presence rather than an Etsy listing. My fursuit making journey started with Jem, my old fursona. I wanted a fursuit but had no hope of affording a commission, so I got some supplies and started making it myself. With that I discovered an incredibly inspiring and difficult hobby that I always want to do more with.

To be honest, after making one fursuit I couldn't stop there. I keep getting inspiration and ideas, and I always have a strong desire to follow through on those. When it comes to partials, I make fursuits that I want to wear. And when it comes to other parts, I tend to do a bit of that plus a bit of generic everyfurry designs. My ideal is to have a few small premade parts in my shop at all times, half being generic things that could fit any fursona vaguely enough, and half that are a little bit odd and out there and more to my own personal eclectic tastes!I am also aware that I lack the experience many other makers have, by a significant amount. The quality and price of my work reflects this. I always do my best to photograph all angles and show off and even point out flaws in my work so potential buyers are fully aware of what they're getting into and I do not even nearly match the prices that other makers charge.Because of this I also do not offer custom heads or paws.

My preferred method of contact is through email, [email protected]. Expect a response within 24 hours.

Terms & Info

Age
Buyer must be 18+ and minors interested in my work must have an adult in their life make this purchase for them.
Repairs
Unless I know you in real life and you come to me, I will not do repairs. The price of shipping and risk of the package being lost is too great. Please familiarize yourself with sewing skills, specifically the ladder stitch. More info in care guide.
Refunds
Refunds may be given only in the case of items not fitting or functioning correctly AND only if you contact me within a week about this. Try your parts on and give them a thorough test ASAP. Your money will be refunded when the item is back in my possession.
The Studio
Studio is smoke free and has no free roaming pets. I do not expect my leopard gecko to carry airborne allergens, but I will state he exists anyways just in case.
Shipping
I try to ship within 3 days. You may contact me any time before or after 3 days to get a personal response on when to expect your package to go out. Sometimes I need to wait a few days if the post office or library I print labels at is closed, or if my work shifts happen before and after the post office's hours.
My packages are nothing special and will typically only be your fursuit part wrapped in some sort of clean plastic in a re-used cardboard box.Recycled Stuffing Information
As stated in the descriptions, a majority of my pieces are stuffed with recycled fur and foam scraps. This means that instead of typical fluffy white stuffing like what's inside of your plushies, the fursuit parts of full of cut up pieces of upholstery foam and tiny pieces of fabrics.

These scraps would have been thrown in the trash anyways, resulting in significantly less waste. This also helps keep prices low as I do not have to buy nearly as much regular stuffing as other makers do.Extremely Important: These scraps retain water much longer than stuffing. Follow the care guide and do NOT soak your parts. And if you do, continue to dry them even after the surface feels dry!NSFW Policy
You're completely free to do suggestive and sexual things in and with the suits I create.
Refusal of Service
I can refuse service for any reason, including over client bigotry, harassment, etc.

Care Guide

I currently sell paws and tails. Both of these are considered to have about the same care guidelines, which is this:Brush gently before and after each use. Do not tug the brush through the fur, and instead lightly pull it into the correct direction.Disinfect with a fursuit spray with at least a 70% alcohol content. You can make fursuit spray yourself by taking 99% alcohol and pouring 3/4ths of it into a spritz bottle, then topping it off with water. The scents are not necessary for cleaning. It is best to give extra attention to areas such as palms and the inner lining of hands, where sweat from yourself and bacteria from the world will accumulate.Spot clean as needed with a damp washcloth. Dry in front of a fan for longer than you think you need to. I find that stuffing stays wet for like 5x longer than you'd expect, so I advise against soaking any parts, but especially tails.Repair seams with a ladder stitch. All you need is a needle, some thread, and this 2-minute youtube tutorial. This information may be changed in the future but is all based in my own experiences with my self-made personal suits.
